ATYAF Consulting is expanding its official Roster of Experts to address evolving requirements across humanitarian, development, and economic recovery portfolios in Yemen and the wider region. We invite highly qualified independent consultants and subject matter experts to register for upcoming short-term deployments, strategic evaluations, and specialized research assignments.

• Food Security, Livelihoods, & Agriculture: Sustainable agriculture, food security assessments, and rural development.
• Health, Nutrition, & WASH: Water, sanitation, hygiene infrastructure, and public health programming.
• Education & Protection: Child protection, gender mainstreaming, and educational access initiatives.
• Economic Recovery & Market Systems: Value chain analysis, private sector engagement, and market-driven employment.
• Governance, Policy, & Peacebuilding: Institutional capacity assessments, policy briefs, and strategic governance frameworks.
• Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus: Resilience programming, conflict-zone stabilization, and early recovery strategies.
• MEAL & Third-Party Monitoring: Impact evaluations, baseline/endline studies, and independent field monitoring.
• Research & Data Analytics: Quantitative/qualitative study design, socio-economic surveys, and advanced data modeling.
• Youth & Digital Economy: "Learning to Earning" pathways, digital literacy, and youth socio-economic empowerment.

Scope of Work (Assignment-Dependent)

Selected consultants will be engaged to deliver high-level technical outputs, which may include:

• Leading or supporting complex field research, multi-stakeholder consultations, and localized data collection.
• Authoring rigorous, publication-ready policy papers, feasibility studies, technical reports, and strategic briefs.
• Applying standardized analytical frameworks to evaluate local market dynamics, social vulnerabilities, and programmatic impact.
• Providing high-level technical advisory services to international organizations, local partners, and ATYAF's institutional clients.

Candidate Profile

• Academic Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field. Exceptional, extensive field experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience within the humanitarian or development sectors. Direct field experience in fragile, conflict-affected settings—locally within Yemen—or similar context is highly advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Exceptional analytical and report-writing capabilities, demonstrated by a portfolio of peer-reviewed or institutionally published papers, evaluations, or strategy documents.
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in written and spoken English and/or Arabic.
